Born to the wealthy Thornwood clan, Ellie and Simon seemed to almost be far too rebelious for their own good. From a very young age, both siblings had the heritage of the Thornwood clan drilled into them. The family's assets and power among the various Elf clans seemed to be more important to their father Larz than the tradition of protecting life and the balance of nature. This disgusted Simon and distressed Ellie. Some time around his 1600th birthday, Simon disappeared. It was belived that he had gotten into a violent argument with Larz and finaly left home. Frustrated and annoyed, Larz took out his aggression on Ellie, all but forcing her to study buisness in order for her to become the heir of the Thornwood dynasty in Simon's absence. Not too long afterwords, Ellie too became tired of her father's arogence and left on her own. She came under the apprenticeship of a dance instructer, and decided to learn ballet (as she had shown prodigal grace, elegence and agility). This would eventually land her as a lead role in a performance that was to be her teacher's last time teaching before retireing. On the night of the important recital, the young elf froze up and was un-able to preform, and unintentionally ruined the recital. Because of this, Ellie left the school in disgrace, choosing to give up on her dream.
Downtrodden, Ellie moved to a small city known as Asterwood, and lived in a small house on the edge of town, where she belived she would live out the rest of her life in solitude away from anyone who knew of her disgraceful preformince... Until one day, a pair of travlers showed up at her door. Weary, and in need of shelter during a particularly violent storm, the two asked for sanctuairy. Ellie agreed, as she felt bad for them, and was fairly lonely herself.
One was a young Catkin named Johnny, and the other was an even younger human named Chester. The trio became fast friends, and with nowhere else to go, Ellie offered the two boys to stay as long as they wanted.... then it happened... The clap of thunder, the tear in the sky, the battles that raged in the inner city. Their once pieceful city errupted in conflict. The first day was brutial, and that night, the trio decided to get to the bottom of this mystery. Chester and Johnny being seasoned warriors dove head-first int the fray, their courage giving Ellie a new-found pourpose. She would aid her friends, and protect her new-found home no matter what the cost....

Despite my obvious admiration of strong women, I'm also fond of the cute, sweet, shy ones too. It's also fun to play as cute, sweet, shy girls in fighting games too. Simply because, there is little more demeaning than being beaten by a ballerina.
